Bio

Was born in Pyatigorsk (Stavropol region, Russia) in 1982.

In 2005, he moved to St. Petersburg with the desire to learn photography.

In 2011 he met photographers Oleg Klimov and Ekaterina Bogachevskaya and joined Liberty.SU Foundation's online magazine dedicated to documentary photography in the post-Soviet space as a technical editor.

In 2013-2014 he became one of the regular participants of the 218-day yacht photo expedition ("From White to Black Sea") along the waterways of Russia, organized by Liberty.SU.

In 2014, he became the technical editor of a website about Russian monocities (Invisible Cities).

In 2015, he co-authored a program on visual documentation of everyday life in Russia. Based on the materials of this program, in 2018, he launched an experimental site with so-called "webzines", the main idea of which was to create a kind of visual encyclopedia of Russian everyday life. At the same time, a web archive with photos was launched.

In 2020, together with Ilya Pilipenko, he became the co-editor of the online gallery F11.
